Intention One Pty Limited was set up by Dr. Mark Greathead to introduce IOMAT to the market place.

Dr. MARK GREATHEAD BVSc MRCVS

  •    Graduated from Veterinary Science at Sydney University

    •  

    76-79   Worked as a Veterinarian in UK and South Africa.

  • Worked as a Veterinarian in race horse practise in Brisbane.

    •  

  • Established and ran Racecourse Rd Equine Veterinary Practise. Pioneered Abrasion Arthroscopy in Equine Surgery, lectured to the Australian Equine Veterinary Conference. Used various complimentary treatment modalities including Acupuncture, Homoeopathy and Chiropractic on race and performance horse.

    • 85        Established Equine Nutrition Systems – Horsepower;-

  • Applied Nutrition Research in association with Dr Harry Dewes of New Zealand and Dr Bill Tyznick of Ohio State University
  • Consulted to many large Hunter Valley Thoroughbred Studs
  • Introduced Trace Element Research to Hunter Valley Studs, in particular relating to Copper
  • Raised awareness of the importance of in utero trace-element levels consequences for foal development
  • Developed computer software to analyse equine diets, analysed 1000’s of diets
  • Developed research model re Osteochondrosis Dessicans, now being implemented in association with Massey University New Zealand.
  • Developed Non Grain Feeding for race and performance horses.

  • Visited Dr Joel Wallach (of “Dead Doctors Don’t Lie” fame) in San Diego, with intention of establishing Australian branch of Dr Wallach’s business.

    • 2000    Ongoing – Researched Sustainable Health options, in particular Mineral Agriculture as a means to produce “clean” food that is truly nutritious, hence IOMAT [Provisional Patent Pending]. Collaborated with several Soil Scientists.

    Educated at Kogarah High School.

  • Enhanced silicate technology in agriculture

    • Mel is in high demand giving seminars / workshops on soil science, crop nutrition, use of minerals in agriculture, horticulture, viticulture and broad acre cropping.

    As a consultant and soil scientist Mel is constant demand with major vineyards in Margaret River and Barossa Valley for his expertise in silicate technology.

    Mel is the foremost expert on “enhanced silicate technology” in Australia and has pioneered the use of silicates and rock dusts in agriculture to improve crop quality, soil fertility and taste of produce.

    Mel is utilized by large agronomy companies in Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland for this expertise in silicate technology, experience with rock dusts, liquid fertilizers and probiotics.
